Carafe

What is a Carafe. To put it very simply it's usually a glass bottle to put water, orange juice, wine, and coffee into. Other uses are carafe flower vases, I've even see people use a carafe for decoration. Such as using little blue, or any colored rocks you would normally see at the bottom of fish tank, and sand. I've seen a carafe used as a plant holder, and some like to put little ships in them. I've seen so many creative uses for glass carafes, or any kind of carafe really that it amazes me the creativity people use..

What's nice about the Carafe is it's not your typical "run of the mill" container. There's usually a texture or artwork to it. It's thicker. It's meant to show off the inside or color of whatever you put into it. Your meant to see how full it is at all times, it meant to be inviting and allow the aroma of the liquid to surround your senses. It's meant to "make" you want to pick it up and serve or pour from it. It's meant to attract attention. And, quite simply, it does. That is why people will pay a couple more dollars for them. With all the many uses and attention it can draw to itself, it's worth it.
